CSIR North East Institute of Science and Technology (NIEST), Jorhat has published the latest recruitment notification for 35 vacant positions. Candidates will receive a monthly payment of Rs 19900 at the aforementioned pay scale upon appointment.
Candidates intending to apply for the recruitment must comply with the post-specific minimum eligibility criteria. All of the eligible applicants shortlisted by the Screening Committee are to be called for the Trade Test. Those who qualify the trade test have to appear in a Competitive Written Exam. The exam will consist of a MCQ type question paper carrying 150 questions which must be completed within 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are three papers based on Mental Ability Test, General Awareness & English Language and Concerned subject. An application fee of Rs 100 must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favor of the Director, CSIR-NIEST, Jorhat, payable at Jorhat. Besides submitting the online application, a print out of the submitted application form must be sent to the Administrative Officer, CSIR NIEST, Jorhat 785006, Assam on or before the last date.
