National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Result 2019 today, on June 5, 2019. The result is only declared online, on nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in. To check the result, NEET 2019 roll number and date of birth are needed. Around 15 lakh candidates were waiting for NEET Result 2019 since morning. 4:50 PM | Only 7 female students get a place among the top 50 candidates in NEET 2019 merit list. Telangana’s Madhuri Reddy G tops among the girls with AIR 7.

3:00 PM | Delhi is the best-performing state in NEET 2019 in the Qualified w.r.t Appeared category. The Qualified w.r.t Appeared percentage of the state is 74.92%.
2:55 PM | Madhuri Reddy is the only female to get a rank in Top 10 candidates. She has scored AIR 7 rank and has secured 695 marks out of 720 marks. Kirti Agarwal of MP has secured 15th position and is the second amongst the female candidates. Her score is 690 marks.
2:40 PM | 15,19,375 candidates have registered this year which is 14.52% increase from NEET held last year. The number of candidates who have qualified the exam is 7,97,042.
The number of qualified females is 4,45,761 and the number qualifying males are 3,51,278. The number of transgenders who qualified for NEET 2019 is 3. 12,04,968 candidates have taken the exam in the English language and 1,79,857 candidates took the exam in the Hindi language.
2:35 PM | The cutoff marks of NEET 2019 is 701-134 for others, 133-107 marks for the OBC/SC/ST candidates. For the UR and PH candidates, the qualifying marks is 133-120. For the OBC & PH/SC & PH/ST & PH it is 119-107.
02:30 PM | The NEET Toppers 2019 are Nalin Khandelwal (AIR 1) with 701 marks, Bhavik Bansal (AIR 2) with 700 marks, and Akshat Kaushik (AIR 3) with 700 marks.

10:40 AM | NTA has release NEET 2019 final answer key. It was released on the official website which is ntaneet.nic.in. It is available as pdf, for code P, Q, R, S, E, F, G, H 1 to 6.
10:00 AM | In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses, the candidates need to obtain minimum marks as decided by NTA. The candidates have to score 50th percentile (UR category), 45th (SC category), 40th percentile (ST category) and 45th percentile (PwD candidates).
09:45 AM | NEET 2019 tie-breaking process includes giving preference to the candidate scoring higher marks in Botony and Zoology. If there is still a tie, the preference will be given to students with higher marks in chemistry. If the tie still persists, the student with less number of incorrect answers will be considered first. Lastly, to resolve the tie as the last option, students who are older in age will be given preference in the merit.
9:30 AM | Out of all the candidates who have appeared for the exam, only 15% of them will be given a place in the NEET 2019 AIR for all India based counselling. In AIR the candidates are placed based on their NEET 2019 Percentile scores. In case 2 or more candidates have the same scores the candidates are then given rank using a tie-breaking process.
9:00 AM | To check the result the candidates have to visit the official website that is ntaneet.nic.in and click on the result link. The candidates then have to log in using their application number and password/date of birth to get into their dashboard. On the dashboard, they can check the link of the result. The candidates have to click on the link and the result will appear on their screen.
8:30 AM | NTA had conducted NEET 2019 on May 05, 2019 all over the nation. However, due to the tragic cyclone Fani, NEET 2019 was held on May 20, 2019, in the state of Odisha. However, the result of NEET is to be declared for all the candidates on the same date.
Only those candidates qualify NEET 2019 who score more than the minimum cut off marks. The cut off for the exam is 50th percentile for UR candidates. For the candidates belonging to SC and ST category, the cut off is 40th percentile and for the OBC candidates, it is 45th Percentile.
The candidates who make it to the cut off, get included in 15% All India Rank. These candidates are then issued NEET rank letter and are called for NEET 2019 counselling. The counselling for NEET 15% All India Quota seats is conducted online, by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level examination, the score of which is excepted by all the MBBS and BDS colleges in India other than AIIMS and JIPMER.
