National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified at its official website that the NEET 2019 Result will be announced today after 4:00 PM. The candidates will be able to check their result for NEET 2019 online at ntaneet.nic.in. To check the result, candidates have to log in by entering their application number and password.
The result for NEET 2019 is released by online mode only. Around 14 lakh candidates have appeared for NEET 2019, out of these the candidates who have cleared the cutoff marks will be placed in the 15% All India Quota Rank List.
In their respective results, the candidates can check their NEET roll number, marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, the total marks, the percentile score, the NEET 2019 All India Quota rank, the NEET 2019 Cut off percentile and cut off score and the number of candidates qualified.
As per the cutoff marks and the AIR of NEET 2019, the counselling will be held. The counselling of NEET 2019 is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee. This counselling is for filling the 15% All India Quota seats. The counselling is held in the online mode and the candidates selected have to participate in the online choice filling by registering g for the same. The selected candidates after the counselling have to appear for the document verification rounds in person.
The overall level of the NEET examination was between easy to moderate level. Questions in the NEET 2019 exam were based on NCERT textbooks and there were no surprises in the exam. The pattern was similar to that of last years, furthermore, no section was particularly difficult. There were almost 7-8 questions directly taken from the previous year’s paper and NCERT textbook.
On the whole, the Physics section was easy, however, some students said that the numerical were a bit difficult. Chemistry section was of moderate difficulty level, whereas, Zoology and Botany were a mix of factual and easy conceptual questions with high weight-age given to Microbes in Human welfare in Botany and cell the unit of life having in Zoology respectively.
As per the coaching institute, the expected general cut off for NEET qualified would vary between 125-135. But for admissions in colleges, the cut off may vary 510-520.
