The Supreme Court of India is all set to hear the PIL regarding the ongoing NEET PG 2022 tussle next week. Soon after the tweet was posted, the students started thanking the doctor for this news. The students are expecting something positive from the SC’s end. Other tweets with similar hashtags, including #deferNEET PG2022 and #postponeNEETMDS were also found on Twitter with candidates batting for the postponement of the NEET PG 2022 examination. Several doctors and candidates shared They were also tagging NBE, Education Minister in their tweet for timely action against this whole hiatus. Check out some of the tweets in the space below:

What was the Issue?
NEET PG 2022 is expected to be conducted on March 12, 2022, however, the counseling for NEET 2021 shall not be over by them. It is due to this that the candidates are demanding the deferment of the examination to a future date. Another point put forth by candidates is that the continuous pressure of the ongoing counseling is also going to hamper their overall performance in the examination.
Another issue that has added fuel to the fire is the internship period of candidates aspiring for NEET PG 2022. Having completed one year of mandatory internship period is essential for appearing in the PG examination. However, citing the internship period for a lot of candidates could not be completed citing the pandemic. This clause is making them ineligible to appear in the NEET examination for this year. The candidates shared that they were put on mandatory covid-19 duties by the government when the medical machinery was collapsing. Now, even knowing everything the board has taken this decision is very disappointing.
