NTA Reopens NEET, JEE Main 2020 Correction Window

Along with postponement of these 2 national level entrance tests, NTA has also announced reopening of the application form correction facility. Form corrections can be done online as per the deadlines.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application form correction facility for NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 again. For both the exams the last date to complete the correction in the form, if any, is July 15, 2020. Also, the form correction deadline is up to 5 PM and the fee against correction must be paid off by 11:50 pm on July 15, 2020. The correction facility is only available for the registered candidates of the exams.

For NEET 2020 application form correction candidates have to visit the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Under the respective logins of the candidates, the form correction link will be available. For JEE Main 2020 form correction the link is activated at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Following that link candidates can login and start the form correction process.

NTA is also allowing the candidate to makes changes in the choice of exam city preferences due to COVID-19 situation. Allowing the candidates to change the exam center during form correction is because of the COVID-19 situation. along with the exam center choices, the entire application form is editable in the form correction period for both JEE Main and NEET.

The application fee is applicable for correction in certain fields of the form. Like in the case of JEE Main 2020, candidates have to pay the application fee if they change all or any one or two of these: category / gender / paper choices.

For NEET application form correction fee is charged if candidates make changes in gender and / or category.

If the payment of extra fee is applicable, candidates have to make the payment using online mode through credit / debit card / net banking / UPI / PAYTM.

The corrections must be reviewed before final submission as the form correction facility will not open again as per the notice.

After corrections are done candidates have to take the print of the revised confirmation page.

The new exam dates of NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 was announced on July 3, 2020. NEET will be held on September 13, 2020, and JEE Main from September 1 to 6, 2020. Also, the JEE Advanced 2020 dates were declared in the same announcement which is September 27, 2020.

Admit cards for both the exams – NEET and JEE Main 2020 will be issued online on the respective websites of the exams. The dates of admit card issuance will be declared 15 days before the commencement of the tests. The admit cards of NEET and JEE Main will bear the roll numbers of the students and their allotted exam center for the test.

JEE Main 2020 exam centers are allocated throughout the nation and also in abroad. On the other hand, NEET 2020 will be held in the centers of Indian states only. NEET will be an offline exam and JEE Main 2020 will be held in computer-based test mode.
