NEET 2022 Correction Window Opened, Access neet.nta.nic.in Login To Edit Application Form

NEET 2022 correction window shall remain active from May 24 to 27, 2022, up to 9:00 pm.

NEET 2022 Correction Window Open

National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public notice, informing candidates about the opening of NEET 2022 correction window. The notice has been published on the official website neet.nta.nic.in and specifies the particulars which are permitted to be rectified. All those who have successfully registered for the UG medical entrance test can access the correction window, starting May 24, 2022. The facility shall remain active till Friday, May 27, 2022, up to 9:00 pm.

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 exam is all set to be conducted on July 17, 2022, through the pen-and-paper mode. Beyond the correction facility, NTA will not be accepting any rectification requests.

NEET 2022 Correction Window – How to make changes?

To access the NEET 2022 correction window, candidates can use the steps given below –

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET UG 2022 i.e., neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the link attached to the words “Correction for NEET(UG)-2022 Is Available now” available in the “Latest News” section.

Step 3: By doing so, a new tab will open containing the login window. Enter the required credentials such as Application Number and Password along with the captcha code displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Sign in’ option to access the candidate dashboard.

Step 5: Access the fully-filled and submitted application form and make the required changes.

Step 6: verify the changes along with other details mentioned before submitting the NEET 2022 form.

NEET 2022 Correction Window – Addition fee details

While making changes in the NEET 2022 application form, additional fee may be charged in certain fields. These charges need to be paid using online payment gateways such as Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI and Paytm.

Candidates may notice changes in the total NEET 2022 fee amount if they make corrections in fields like gender, category and PwD status. In case of such a change, they need to bear the additional charges which will not be refunded under any circumstances.

NEET 2022 Correction Window – Fields allowed to edit

According to the official notice, the NEET 2022 correction window permits changes in all fields except mobile number, permanent address, email address, correspondence address and nationality.

In case of Aadhar verified candidates,

# No correction allowed in candidate’s name, date of birth and gender (if any one detail is not verified, it can be changed)

# Change permitted in either father’s name or mother’s name, not both

# Permitted to re-upload signature and photograph (if so, no change permitted in father’s and mother’s name)

# Allowed to either change category or re-upload category certificate, not both

# Allowed to either change sub-category or re-upload sub-category certificate, not both

With respect to Aadhar not verified candidates,

# Change permitted in either father’s name or mother’s name, not both

# Permitted to re-upload signature and photograph (if so, no change permitted in father’s and mother’s name)

# Allowed to either change category or re-upload category certificate, not both

# Allowed to either change sub-category or re-upload sub-category certificate, not both

# Permitted to change date of birth and gender
