NEET 2021 Result Soon

National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET 2021 result soon on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 examination was conducted on September 12, 2021. For the first time in NEET’s history, more than 15 lakh candidates registered for the entrance exam. These candidates are now ardently waiting for the results to come out. Initially, NTA was expected to announce the results in the second week of October 2021. However, due to multiple controversies and incidences, results were delayed. However, overcoming all those controversies, NEET 2021 results are likely to come out today, October 28, 2021, or tomorrow, October 29, 2021.

Once the results are announced, candidates can access their scorecards on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. All they have to do is click on the result link present on the homepage and key in the login credentials. These credentials may include the Registration Number, Roll Number mentioned on admit card, Date of Birth, etc. On submitting these credentials, candidates will be able to access their NEET 2021 results. They are advised to download or take a printout of the admit cards for future reference or use.

Till the NEET 2021 results are announced, candidates can spend this time calculating their tentative scores. Several coaching institutes have uploaded their answer keys online. Moreover, NTA has itself released the answer key on the official website. Candidates can make use of both these answer keys to calculate their tentative exam scores. But they must make sure to use the marking scheme explained in the information brochure.

This year, a change was introduced in the NEET 2021 paper pattern whereby questions in each subject were divided into two parts – Section A, which was compulsory and Section B, having the internal choice. Although the paper pattern changed, the marking scheme remained the same. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded. On the other hand, for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. 0 marks will be given to unanswered questions.

Keeping this marking scheme and the new paper pattern in mind, candidates will be able to calculate their NEET 2021 score. Of course, it may differ slightly from the actual scores calculated by NTA. However, the difference will be minuscule. So, candidates can use this tentative score to predict their rank based on past-year trends. in the end, even before the announcement of results, candidates will be knowing where they stand.

Coming to the NEET results, last year, two students managed to score 720/720 marks. This year, considering the level of competition and the difficulty level of the question paper, more candidates are expected to achieve the perfect score. Will this prediction come true or not is for the future to decide.
