NEET 2021 Result

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again extended the deadline for completing the Phase 2 registration and correction in the NEET 2021 application form. This decision to extend the date came after the agency received several requests from the candidates. As of now, the window for filling the second set of information and rectifying the particulars in the first and second phases of the application form will close on October 26, 2021 (11:50 PM).

However, the particulars for making corrections are limited. A candidate can only edit fields such as gender, nationality, email address, category, sub-category and fields related to the second phase of registration. This opportunity will be the last and final one for the candidates to correct the particulars in the NEET 2021 application form. It must be noted that this facility will also be available to candidates who have done one-time corrections in these particular fields earlier. In case one faces difficulty in making corrections in the online application form, they can contact NTA on 011-40759000 or email their queries at [email protected].

Importantly, every candidate must check, crosscheck and verify their registered email IDs and also ensure that it’s their own email ID. This is because NTA will be sending the scanned copies of the scorecards to the registered email IDs. Those who are unfamiliar with the process of making corrections in the NEET 2021 application form can take a look at the steps given below.

Step 1- Visit neet.nta.nic.in and scroll down the page to click on the ‘Correction Phase-II NEET (UG) 2021’ link

Step 2- Enter details like application number, password and the displayed security pin

Step 3- Edit the required and relevant particulars

Step 4- Preview the changes and submit the NEET 2021 correction form.

While making corrections in the NEET 2021 application form, candidates should keep relevant documents ready. This is necessary because only the correct information should be entered. Once the form is submitted, the same cannot be reverted. This year, the NEET 2021 exam has already been completed on September 12, 2021. However, the candidates are still awaiting their results.

The results for NEET 2021 is expected to be available after October 26, 2021. In the meantime, candidates should keep visiting the websites for all updates. Also, it must be noted that the Phase 2 registration of NEET 2021 does not mean that the UG medical entrance examination will be held once again. Rather, it is just the second part of the NEET 2021 application form. The additional details that the candidates will fill up are going to be essential during the counselling process.
