NEET 2021 Correction

The last date of correction for the first and second phases of registration for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Earlier, the last date for corrections was October 13, 2021. However, now, it has been extended up to 11:50 PM on October 14, 2021. This decision for the further extension came after NTA received several requests from the candidates. Hence, this will be the final opportunity for the candidates to correct or modify the particulars in the first and second phases of NEET 2021 online application form.

Other than that, take note that the fields for correction are only limited. A candidate can only correct their gender, nationality, e-mail address, category, sub-category and fields from the second phase of NEET 2021 registration. However, this facility is also available for those candidates who have already done one-time corrections in these particular fields. Candidates are advised to check, crosscheck and also verify their registered e-mail address. This is because NTA will send the scanned copies of the OMR answer sheet and scorecard to the registered e-mails IDs only.

Now, in case a candidate faces any difficulty while making corrections in the online application form, then they can contact NTA at 011-40759000 or send their queries via e-mail to [email protected]. In addition to that, they must keep an eye on the NTA websites – nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in to catch up with the latest updates.

To make corrections in the NEET 2021 application form, candidates have to visit the official NEET 2021 website – neet.nta.nic.in. After that, follow the steps given below:

Step 1- Scroll down the page and click on the ‘Correction Phase-II NEET (UG) 2021’ link

Step 2- Enter the application number, password and the displayed security pin in the sign in section

Step 3- Agree to the terms and conditions as they appear and proceed towards editing the relevant particulars

Step 4- In the last step, do not forget to preview the changes before submitting the NEET 2021 correction form.

It is advisable to keep relevant documents ready while making corrections. This is to ensure that correct information is entered because the correction form once submitted, cannot be reverted. NEET 2021 exam has already concluded on September 12, 2021. As of now, candidates are awaiting their results. It can be expected that the answer keys for NEET 2021 will be released soon. The results for the medical entrance examination is likely to be available by October 16, 2021. Nevertheless, keep visiting the websites for the official notice.
