The last date to fill the NEET online Application Form 2021 is August 10, 2021, till 09.50 PM. The candidates can pay the application fee for NEET 2021 till 11.50 PM on August 10, 2021. The NTA has extended the last date to fill the application form of NEET and has released an official notice on neet.nta.nic.in. Along with this, the candidates can make the corrections in the application from August 11, 2021, to August 14, 2021, till 02.00 PM. As per the official update, the NTA will conduct the NEET UG 2021 exam on September 12, 2021.
The candidates can only make the corrections in the following details on the NEET Online Application form:
- Personal Details i.e. Candidate’s name, DOB, Gender, ID Card details etc
- Exam centre preference
- Class 10th/12th academic details
- Candidates address
Earlier, the last date to fill the NEET application form 2021 was August 07, 2021. As per the notification, the NTA will release the NEET Admit Card 2021 3 days prior to the online examination. With this, we can assume that the admit card will be available around between September 09, 2021, to September 12, 2021.
The candidates willing to fill the NEET Online Application form 2021 should be within the age limit of 17years to 25 years. The SC/ST/OBC candidates can seek age relaxation of upto 5 years in the upper age limit. The academic qualification required for this exam is completing Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from any recognized board. The minimum qualifying marks for the Unreserved candidates in the Intermediate exam with 50% marks. While the qualifying marks for the SC/ST candidates is 40% marks.
The NEET-UG Examination is an offline test conducted in pen and paper mode. There will be four subjects in the NEET 2021 examination namely, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each subject will have two sections, there will be 35 questions in section A. While section B will account for 15 questions out of which 10 questions will be compulsory. The duration of the NEET Exam 2021 will be 3 hours or 180 minutes. As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer. There will be a deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer. The test will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English and regional languages.
