National Testing Agency had released the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 answer key on September 26, 2020. The challenge facility for the same was activated on September 27, 2020, from 2 pm. This facility ended today i.e. September 29, 2020, at 2 pm. NTA is also going to release the candidate OMR/ response sheet on the official website. It is expected to be out today, as last year too, NTA uploaded the OMR sheets on the last day of the challenge.
To access NTA NEET 2020 OMR sheet, candidates have to login to the website by filling their application number and password. Under the login candidates can check the link for the OMR sheet. The OMR sheet will have the recorded answers of the candidates as marked by them on the day of the exam. After that, NTA will be left with NEET result declaration. It is again expected that the result will be available in the first week of October or by October 13, 2020.
The OMR sheet uploaded by NTA is the scanned copy of the OMR answer sheet, in which candidates have marked the answers for each question on the exam day.
The OMR sheet of NEET 2020 will be also available for challenge. Representation against the OMR grading can be done by paying a processing fee of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged.
Representations made by the candidates against the OMR grading will be verified by the NTA from the actual record and the same will be updated in the data if challenges are found correct.
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for acceptance to MBBS / BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved / recognized Medical / Dental & other Colleges in India including the Institutions authorized under an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
NEET was held on September 13, 2020. Around 16 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. The result of the exam are awaited, infact no exact date has been announced by NTA for the declaration of the result. The candidates will get their NEET scorecard online only. The scorecard will have the cutoff for 15% All India Quota seats, AIR for 15% AIQ, section-wise and overall percentile score, Overall score of the candidates in the exam. NEEY scorecard will be valid for 3 years from the date of the announcement of results for the candidates to pursue medical studies overseas.
