NEET 2019 Counselling Starts from 19 June; Round 1, 2, Mop-Up Schedule Released

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released NEET 2019 Counselling schedule. The schedule released today, on mc.nic.in, through a notice. Soon after the Committee uploaded the notice the website displayed server error. As per the notice, the counselling for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test will begin from June 19, 2019.

MCC will hold 3 rounds of NEET 2019 Counselling. The registration and choice filling for round 1 can be done form June 19 to 25, 2019. The seat allotment result will release on June 27 and the candidates have to report at the college between Juen 28 to July 3, 2019.

NEET 2019 Counselling

The round 2 of counselling also begins with registration and choice filling, which the candidates can do from July 6 to 9, 2019. The processing of seat allotment result will be done on July 10 and 2 days after that, i.e. on July 12, 2019, the final seat allotment result will be announced. The reporting for round 2 is to be done between July 13 to 22, 2019.

On July 23, 2019, MCC will transfer vacant seats under 15% All India Quota. These seats will be filled in the Mop-Up round. The Mop-Up round will begin on August 13, 2019. New registration and choice filling for it can be done by August 16, 2019. Seat allotment result for this round will be announced on August 18, 2019, and from August 20 to 26 the candidates will have to report in the colleges.

MCC only holds NEET counselling to fill 15% All India Quota seats. The counselling is conducted entirely online and only those candidates are can register for it who surpassed NEET cut off. Before the counselling, the candidates get counselling letter.

The candidate who wishes to participate has to register by entering a few details and by making a payment of counselling and registration fee. The amount of fee varies for each category and shall be announced in due course of time. Candidates can submit the amount online, via net banking, debit card, credit card.

During registration, the candidates will also get an option to submit the choices for the course and colleges. The choices have to be submitted in the order if priority. The candidates must lock the choices before the last date or it will be locked automatically, as per the latest changes. On the basis of submitted choices and the rank of NEET 2019, the candidates will be allocated a seat.

Candidates who are satisfied with the allotment, have to report at the allocated college. The reporting at the college has to be done within the stipulated duration. Candidates will also have to produce certain documents at the college, which will be the admit card, counselling letter, rank card, class 10 and 12 certificates, id proof, passport size photographs, caste certificate, PwD certificate, etc.
