National Disaster Management Authority has released an official notification related to the recruitment of Consultant in various departments. The conducting body has announced a total of 13 vacancies for this recruitment. The recruitment to the announced posts in the various department is on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates can submit their application form within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice. Interested candidates can download the notification with number “F. The post of Consultant is announced under various department of National Disaster Management Authority. For each department, the conducting body has announced 01 posts. So, the department with the vacancies are of Disaster Management, International Frameworks and Disaster Data Management, Print and Electronic Media, Social Media, International Cooperation, Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction, Information, Education and Communication, Medical Preparedness and Biological Disaster, Nuclear and Radiological, Geographic Information System.
To apply for the announced posts, candidates must have a post-graduation degree in the concerned subject. Those who have M.Phil, PhD, research experience, has published papers with adequate post-qualification experience are preferred. In addition, only those candidates who have adequate experience in the relevant fields can apply for the Consultant posts in various department. Candidates should have good knowledge of the English language. Aspirants must have experience in the field of policy, plans and guidelines related to the particular department. Along with the educational qualification, candidates must satisfy the prescribed age limit. The upper age limit for Disaster Management, International Frameworks and Disaster Data Management, International Cooperation, Community based Disaster Risk Reduction, Information Education and Communication, Medical Preparedness and Biological Disaster, Geographic Information System Department is 50 years and 45 years for the other departments.
Aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can submit the online application form through offline post only. The form can be downloaded from the official website only, i.e ndma.gov.in. Candidates have to submit their form in bio-data format in the prescribed proforma along with relevant documents. Aspirants who wish to apply for more than one post have to submit different application form for each post.
