National Crime Records Bureau, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is inviting applications to fill up the vacant posts of Head Constable (DVR) in Crime Records, Administration and Training Division of National Crime Records Bureau. The notification for the same was published recently on ncrb.gov.in. For the post of Head Constable on Deputation basis, NCRB has announced 02 vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates have to submit the applications within 45 days from the release date of notification.
Candidates are selected under General Central Service Group C Non- Gazetted Non-Ministerial department. Those who are shortlisted for the post receives Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63200/- (with the pre-revised amount of Rs. 5200 – 20200/- along with the grade pay of Rs. 1900/-).
To apply for the said post, applications from Police Officials are invited. They must have served to the Central Government or State Government or Union territories. Besides, they must hold the police post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. Those who have 03 years experience in regular service with pay matrix Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56900/- or equivalent are also eligible for the post. It is compulsory for candidates to possess a valid motor driving license and 03 years of experience in driving light or heavy motor vehicle. Eligible candidates have to ensure that their upper age limit does not exceed that of 56 years on the closing date of the application procedure.
Applications for Head Constable (DVR) are invited through offline procedure only. They have to submit the forms to Assistant Director (Adms.), National Crime Records Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, NH-8, Mahipalpur, New Delhi- 110037. Along with the application form candidates also has to submit APAR Dossiers for the last 05 years of the officials. Forms which are submitted without APAR Dossiers or not completely filled are rejected.
Candidates have to mention their professional details, training attended, date of joining and date of retirement, name of the post they held, nature of their employment (whether in Ad-hoc basis or regular basis) in the form. In case the candidate is a present employee, they have to mention the date of initial appointment, date from which appointed on, name of the parent office/organization and name of office/org were on deputation. The details of the employment should be mentioned in chronological order only.
The recruitment to the said posts is on deputation basis only. Candidates are considered for the post on the basis of the eligibility, work experience and other aspects. They are recruited in the Crime Records, Administration and Training Division of National Crime Records Bureau department.
