Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital and Medical College are inviting online applications for recruitment into 85 vacancies. The vacancies are for the post of Senior Resident in different departments. BSAH has published a detailed recruitment advertisement in this regard at the website delhi.gov.in under the link departments/Dr. B.S Ambedkar Hospital. The link to fill up and submit the online applications is available in the detailed recruitment advertisement and eligible candidates must apply through the provided application link only. The last date of submission of online applications is August 12, 2020, till 10.00 AM. Selection interviews of the eligible applicants are to be held from, 09.00 AM to 10.00 AM on August 13 and 14, 2020.
As per the notification, 85 total vacancies are available in various departments. There are 12 seats in the General Medicine & Allied department and 21 seats in the General Anaesthesia and Allied department. In addition, 16 seats are available in Paediatrics, 15 in OBS & Gynae, 05 in Radiology, 01 in Microbiology, 02 in Skin, and 13 in General Surgery and Allied departments. The interview dates have been scheduled separately for different departments. Interviews for the Gen Medicine & Allied, Gen Anaesthesia & Allied, Paediatrics, OBS & Gynae departments are scheduled on August 13, 2020. The interviews for the rest of the departments are scheduled on August 14, 2020. Candidates are required to report between 09.00 AM to 10.00 AM at the MD Office, Dr. BSA Hospital with the printed copy of the application form and other specified documents. Entry is prohibited into the venue after 10.00 AM.
Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility conditions first. In order to apply, candidates must have an MBBS degree along with a post graduate degree/DNB/diploma. The maximum permissible age is 37 years as on the date of interview although candidates belonging to special reserved categories can avail relaxations of 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC. Applicants must not have completed 03 years of Sr. Residency in the past on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Candidates having super specialty qualifications or experience are preferred for super specialty branches. Candidates are to be appointed for an initial period of 01 year subject to maximum extension up to a total period of 03 years from the date of joining.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of the interviews. Candidates are required to report at the interview venue as per schedule without delay and along with the necessary documents. However, one must at first apply online through the link provided in the detailed recruitment notification. The printed copy of the online application form must be carried to the interview venue along with the other specified documents.
Physical applications are not accepted and candidates must apply only through the provided link within the recruitment notice. An auto-generated mail is received by the applicant upon successful completion of the application process. The mail consists of the link to download the completed application form. Candidates must download the form, generate a printout, and carry the same along with the original documents and their photocopies to the interview venue. Final selection results are displayed on the website and the notice board of the institute. Selected candidates must report and join within 10 days of publication of the results.
