Nalanda Open University (NOU) has announced the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019 result today at biharcetintbed.com. The test was conducted on September 15, 2019 for admission to four year integrated courses B.Sc-B.Ed, BA-B.Ed.
It was already announced by the university that the result would be announced today. As promised, result was uploaded in the morning.
To check result, students need to visit the official website biharcetintbed.com. There, they have to click “click hereto view print result” link in the menu that is on the left-side. If the link does not show when viewing the site in mobile, students can use the settings in their browser to use it as a desktop site and then they can see it.
The page that opens upon clicking the results link has heading “Result- (CET – 4 Year Integrated B.Ed.- 2019)”. Here, students need to enter their registration number and date of birth to check their result.
The result is available in a pdf format, containing name of the candidate, roll number and marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination. To download the results, candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth.
NOU conducted the entrance exam, Bihar B.Ed CET 2019, on last Sunday. The test comprised of 120 objective type questions. There were five sections namely general english comprehension, general hindi, logical and analytical reasoning, general awareness, teaching Learning environment in schools. These sections respectively had 15, 15, 25, 40, 25 questions. Each question was of one mark.

Now that exam is over, result is out, next in line is the counselling. Advertisement for centralized counselling, college choice filling will be available from tomorrow. Students will be able to register for counselling and fill choices for colleges, pay fee for counselling also from tomorrow.
September 22, 2019 will be the last date to register, fill choices. September 23, 2019 will be the last date to pay fee. After that, students will have to report to the counselling centre for document verification on September 24, 2019. Then from September 27, 2019, to September 28, 2019, students will report to allotted colleges for admission. The academic session shall commence on September 30, 2019.
It may be noted that only such students will be able to register for counselling, who get marks more than cut off in the exam.
The Nalanda Open University is the only university in Bihar, granting distance education. The University was established in March, 1987 by an ordinance. The university is named after the famous Nalanda University of ancient India. At present, it functions from its camp office at Biscomaun Bhawan, Patna. Its aim is to provide educational facilities to those who are unable to take up formal educations but are still desirous to acquire knowledge in various fields and to lay emphasis on vocational, as well as, conventional courses, leading to award of degrees and certificates.
