The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (PEB) will soon release the admit card for the MP Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (MPTET) on its official website peb.mp.gov.in. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on March 05, 2022. The admit card is usually released 14 days prior to the conduct of the examination and is expected to be released this week on the official website. Candidates who have registered for the MP Samvida Shikshak Varg 3/ Primary Teacher exam can download it using their application number.

The admit card will be released through the online mode only and will not be sent to the candidates by post, according to the official notification. Those who appear in the examination are requested to keep the admit card with them even after the conclusion of the examination for any further processes. Candidates must carry along with them any valid ID proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License, PAN card, Voter ID, etc. on the day of the examination.
Exam Pattern
MPTET is conducted in pen and paper mode. The examination is of a duration of 2.5 hours and consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for recruiting candidates to teach primary (1 to 5) classes whereas Paper 2 is to select candidates eligible to teach upper primary(6 to 8) classes. Each question carries 1 mark with no negative marking for incorrect answers. The subjects in Paper 1 are Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Language 1, Language 2, and Environmental Science. Paper 2 has an addition of Social Science along with the above-mentioned subjects. The detailed syllabus will be available on the official website of MPPEB.

The candidates from the unreserved category should score a minimum of 60% to qualify whereas there is a relaxation of 50% for reserved categories. Passing the examination will provide the candidates with an eligibility certificate with which they can apply for various teaching posts in the state
