Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) recently released the admit cards of the State Service and State Forest Service Prelims Examination 2020, on its official website mppsc.nic.in. The candidates who have applied for the state level competitive examination now can check and download their admit cards online. The MPPSC state service and forest service exam will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
How to download MPPSC admit card 2021?
To download the admit card, candidates should visit the official website mppsc.nic.in. Thereafter, they will have to click on the “Download Admit Card” tab. In a new window, an accessible link reading “Admit Card for State Service and State Forest Service Prelims Examination 2020” will appear on screen. Pressing on the admit card link, a new login page will open. To access the admit card application number and date of birth are required. After verify all the given details in the admit card, applicants will have to download and print their admit card.
According to the MPPSC, the State Service and Forest Service Prelims exam will be held in OMR-based pen-and-paper mode. The question paper along with the OMR sheet will be provided at the examination centre. However, to gain entry to their respective exam centres, candidates are required to show MPPSC Prelims admit card and an id card as a document for verification to the centre authorities.
MPPSC State Service Examination 2020 Syllabus and Exam Pattern
The syllabus for paper-1 General Studies is as follows: (1) History, culture and literature of Madhya Pradesh, (2) History of India (3) Geography of Madhya Pradesh, (4) Geography of World and India, (5A) Constitutional System of Madhya Pradesh, (5B) Economy of Madhya Pradesh, (6) Constitution Government and Economy of India, (7) Science and Technology, (8) Current International and National Affairs, (9) Information and Communication Technology, (10) National and Regional Constitutional / Statutory Bodies.
Similarly, the General Aptitude Test paper-2 syllabus consists of 200 questions based on the following topics- (1) Comprehension (2) Interpersonal skills and communication skills (3) Logical and analytical ability, (4) Decision-making and problem-solving, (5) General mentality, (6) Basic numeracy, (7) Hindi language comprehension skill.

The preliminary exam will be held in two shifts, consisting of two papers, a) General Studies, and b) General Aptitude Test. The examination for the first paper will be held from 10 am to 12:00 noon, whereas the second paper exam timing is 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm. All the questions in the state service prelims examination will be objective type and to be answered on an OMR sheet. The candidates appearing for the examination are advised to reach at least 30 minutes before starting of examination.
For better preparation for the Madhya Pradesh State Service Exam, one must begin early preparations with an organized plan and definite things set in mind to ace the prelims examination. However, as the examination is scheduled with less than a fortnight to go, one should go for a quick revision of the topics especially of those in which the aspirant has a stronghold. It should be noted by the candidates that they revise the already covered and interest-based topics in this short span of time. They are suggested to not go after the topics that are untouched yet.
The first stage is the preliminary exam is an objective type OMR-based question paper. Candidates can assure that they have acquired essential learning before they start preparations for two hour-long papers i.e General Studies and General Aptitude Test.
Earlier on June 02, 2021, the state public service commission postponed the MPPSC Prelims examination 2020 which was supposed to be held on June 20, 2021. Alongside, the revised exam date was announced as July 25, 2021. The preliminary exam qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the Mains examination. The selection of the candidates will be based on three stages of test – Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
