The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has announced that the decision over conducting the examination will be taken after June 05, 2021. However, regarding the class 10th exam, the board has asked all the schools to submit the internal marks by June 10, 2021, such that the results can be announced on time.
The MPBSE 12th examination that was scheduled for the first week of May 2021 was postponed amid a surge in the covid-19 cases. The board decided to cancel the class 10th examination however later it was decided that the marks of the internal exam will be considered for evaluation.
According to the official briefing, an internal assessment is been conducted by the school wherein they are filling the OMR sheets of the candidates on the basis of internal assessment. Post this, that has to be submitted on the official website only for those school who are submitting marks offline. This rule is not applicable to candidates who are submitting marks via an online mode. Once all the schools submit the internal assessment OMR sheets or mark the board will draft the final result of the class 10th examination and make it available on its official website.
The final result of the class 10th examination will be drafted by considering the marks of the 50% of the marks scored in the pre boards, 30% weightage will be given to unit test and in the end, 20% weightage will be on the marks scored in the internal assessment. Also, the final performance of the schools over the years will be also considered for drafting the result for the students if class 10th.
Regarding the class 12th examination, the suspense is still on as there is a high-level meeting that will be held by the Education Ministry with all the different ministries. If the CBSE decides to cancel the class 12th examination then MPBSE will be left with no choice but to follow the same and cancel that for the state too. The final decision on holding the Intermediate exam will be decided once the Ministry gets an idea of the ground reality of the situation of the pandemic in the country and the state.
