Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MP PEB) has recently published a notification for the recruitment of Jail Prahari. MP PEB has announced 226 vacancies for Direct Recruitment and 56 vacancies as backlog vacancies. The examination for MP Jail Prahari is scheduled from November 03 to November 10, 2020. Those who are shortlisted for the announced post gets Rs.19500 – Rs.62,000/- as per month salary. The online applications for the said posts start from July 27, 2020. Candidates must have passed 10+2 standard to apply for Jail Prahari post. They also have to satisfy the physical requirements as mentioned in the notification. Their height should be 165 cm and chest expanded up to 83 cms. Female candidates are not required to give the chest measurement, but their height should be 158 cms. The minimum age limit for eligible candidates is 18 years as on January 01, 2020. The upper age limit for unreserved male category candidates is 33 years. For all others, the upper age limit is 38 years.
The application procedure for MP PEB round is conducted through online mode. Aspirants have to visit mponline.gov.in to submit their applications. To get the active application link candidates to have to visit the website, candidate profiling> Profile registration. After this, candidates get the profile ID using which candidates can submit their application form. While filling the form, aspirants have to upload the scanned image of their photograph and signature. Candidates have to submit applications fee of Rs. 500/- through online mode. However, SC/SC/OBC/Physically handicap candidates of MP state have to pay Rs. 250/- as the application fee.
In case, aspirants have entered incorrect details in the form they can edit it accordingly. The conducting body opens the window to edit the information from July 27, 2020, onwards. Eligible candidates can edit their details up to August 15, 2020.
The selection criteria for MP Jail Prahari includes the written examination and PST/PET round. The examination is conducted for 100 marks and 100 questions. Candidates have to attempt as many questions as they can in the 02 hours duration. The question paper for the written examination is prepared with 05 subjects – General Studies, General Hindi, General English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. Those who obtain qualifying marks are invited for the PST/PET round. The final merit list for MP PEB Jail Prahari is prepared as per the marks secured in written exam round. Also, a document verification round is conducted for which the schedule will be out later.
