The University of Lucknow issued a public notice on March 10, 2021, stating that a total of 3,35,543 candidates had registered for the Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education (UP B.Ed) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2021. Registration for the same had begun on February 18, 2021, and the last date to register for the exam without a late fee was March 15, 2021. However, authorities recently decided to extend the registration deadline to March 24, 2021, without the late fee, with the late fee the application can be submitted by March 31, 2021. However, no changes have been made to the entrance exam date which is scheduled for May 19, 2021.

According to the public notice, the online registration process for UP JEE B.Ed 2021-23 began on February 18, 2021. The last date for submitting the application form without fee was March 15, 2021. However, the registration deadline without a late fee has been extended to March 24, 2021, and the last date to register with a late fee is March 31, 2021.
Till March 10, 2021, 3,35,543 candidates have registered for the UP B.Ed JEE 2021 examination. Authorities also mentioned in the press release that a multitude of applicants had called the helpline number for resolving their queries. Among the questions asked, several were repeated multiple times. Moreover, these questions were raised despite the information brochure containing all the useful information and guidelines.
The University subsequently, had decided to prepare a lost of ‘frequently asked questions’ along with their answers for helping students. In case any issue arises during the registration process, candidates were advised to go through these questions to get their issues resolved.
Authorities also shed light on the correction facility that candidates can avail once the application process is over. However, this correction facility shall be restricted to four fields – Gender, Stream, Weightage and Test Centres. In case, candidates have committed any mistakes in the above-mentioned fields, they shall be permitted to make the necessary rectifications after the registration process. Authorities shall notify candidates about the dates for availing of this facility.
Lucknow University shall be conducting the UP B.Ed JEE 2021-23 examination on May 19, 2021. Admit card for the same shall be tentatively released on the official website lkouniv.ac.in on May 10, 2021. Authorities are expected to release the entrance exam results by June 20-25, 2021. Candidates can access their examination results on the official website itself. By qualifying for this examination, candidates can get admission in prestigious institutes or colleges within Uttar Pradesh to pursue a B.Ed course.
