The State Common Entrance Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the dates of the MHT CET 2022 examination. The entrance exam is conducted for admission to various professional courses in engineering/technology, pharmacy, and agricultural education. The state-level entrance tests are scheduled to commence with MHT CET for higher education from June 3 to 10, 2022. This will be followed by CET for Technical Education from June 11 to 28, and CET for Arts Education on June 12, 2022.
In this regard, the education minister of Maharashtra, Uday Samant, notified the applicants regarding the exam date via his Twitter handle –

Translation – For the academic year 2022-23, through the state CET class, the CET examination of the higher education department will be held from June 03 to 10, the CET examination of the technical education department will be held from June 11 to 28, and the CET examination of the art education department will be held on June 12. MHT CET 2022 Application Form
The application process for the MHT CET 2022 began on February 10, 2022. The candidates interested can still submit their application online before the window closes on March 31, 2022, at 11:59 pm. Applications can be sent in with a late fee of Rs 500, common across all categories, from April 1 to 7, 2022 11:59 pm. The candidates can apply online for the entrance exam by visiting the official website mhtcet2022.mahacet.org.
MHT CET – Exam Pattern
MHT CET is conducted in two groups, Group I -PCM (physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for admission to degree courses in Engineering and Technology, Group II – PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for admission to Pharmacy/ Pharm D courses. Both Group I and Group II exams will consist of 3 papers in the respective subjects carrying 100 marks each.
Syllabus
The syllabus of the exam will be as per the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The test will cover both classes 11 and 12’s curriculum with 80% weightage on the class 12 syllabus. As such the paper will cover the whole of the class 12 syllabus of all the four subjects and only select portions from the class 11 syllabus will be applicable.
