Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV) Wardha is hiring for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. There are respectively 10, 11, and 32 vacancies in these posts. The overall 53 vacancies have been advertised vide employment notice numbered as Advt No. MGAHV/08/2019.
MGAHV recruitment of teaching positions has been opened in its schools of language, literature, culture, translation and interpretation, humanities and social sciences, education, and also in the regional centres of Allahabad, Kolkata.
The pay scale for post of professor is level 14, entitled to Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200. Likewise for associate professor the pay scale is 13 A, corresponding to Rs 1,31,400 to Rs 2,17,100. Assistant professor position is in level 10 of pay scale, corresponding to Rs 57,700 to Rs 1,82,400.

An application fee of Rs 1,000 is applicable on general, OBC, EWS candidates. SC, ST, disabled, women candidates are exempted from fee payment.
MGAHV has laid down different eligibility criteria requirement depending upon the post, school, department. For example to become an Assistant Professor in the School of Literature in Hindi and comparative literature, candidate must have proficiency in teaching hindi, PhD and/or minimum two research publications in concerned area, good knowledge of any one of the Indian languages, post graduate diploma in translation / Indian literature, and proficient knowledge of computer. Along with the application form, it is mandatory to attach necessary self attested copies of with regards to their educational qualification, and caste certificates or NOC. The submissions must be completed within 21 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News / Rozgar Samachar. No request for submission of application form will be entertained after the due date.
The list of the shortlisting candidates and information related to venue and date of the interview will be published on the MGAHV website, hindivishwa.org. Therefore, it is requested to check up with the portal regularly. The selected candidates will have to execute a written contract on probation as prescribed by the Ordinances if MGAHV. In addition to this, they also have to produce a medical certificate from the Medical Board issued by a Govt. hospital/or Govt./CGHS empanelled hospital, at the time of their joining.
Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya was established in 1997. The varsity was founded with the purpose of promoting Hindi language and literature. As per the NIRF 2019 data, the sanctioned intake in 2017-18 was 260 for three year UG program, 860 for two years PG program, and 50 for 3 years PG program. Respective programs had an actual strength of 162, 397, 36 in that session.
