Manipal Universty Announced MET 2019 Rank

Manipal University has released the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2019 Rank on May 10, 2019. The candidates can check their rank in the entrance exam online at the University’s official website, manipal.edu. The University is conducting the entrance exam from April 19 to May 30, 2019. Earlier on April 25, 2019, MU released the scorecard for the candidates at its official website.

To check the MU OET 2019 Rank/ Merit list, candidates need to visit the official website of the university. On the homepage of the website, click on the “Admission” tab and then click on the link which says “Result and Waitlist status” on the left side of the menu. Next, the candidates will get two option, first is to check the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2019 Scorecard and the other option is to check the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2019 Rank.


If a candidate chooses the first option, which is for downloading the MU OET 2019 Scorecard, candidates need to provide their application number and OTBS password. Submit the details and then in the next screen, candidates can download their MU OET 2019 scorecard. However, to check the rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam, they need to log in by entering their application number.

Along with the MET 2019 Rank, the University has also published the waitlist status. As per the published waitlist status, for BBA programme,  Rank 1 – 354 of General category have been sent the offer letter and the last date for payment for such candidate is May 15, 2019. However, candidates with ranks between 355 – 1103 have been placed in the waitlist. Likewise, in BBA, for SAGES Category, offer letter has been sent to candidates whose rank is between 1 – 12, whereas, candidates with ranks between 13 – 35 have been shifted to the waitlist.

For BA Media & Communication, in General, category, offer lent is sent to candidates Rank 1 – 150 and the candidates whose rank is between 151 – 639 are placed in the waitlist. In the SAGES Category, offer letter has been sent to Ranks 1 – 5. Furthermore, the candidates who have been sent the offer letter need to pay the fees by May 15, 2019.

Furthermore, the counselling schedule for Under Graduate (UG) Degree, and Post Graduate (PG) Degree courses has also been published online. Under UG courses, counselling for all Allied Health Programs (General Category) starts from June 19 – 21, 2019, for all BTech Programs (General Category) counselling starts from May 31 – June 9, 2019. For All BTech Programs (SAGES Category), the counselling is going to be held on May 30, 2019, on June 26, 2019 for All BTech (Lateral Entry) Programs. For BPharm, PharmD (General Category), MU OET 2019 Counselling is scheduled to start from June 11-12, 2019 and on June 12, 2019 for BPharm (SAGES Category).

Under the PG degree courses, counselling for All Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) Programs is going to start on June 22, 2019. Counselling for courses, MSc Audiology and MSc Speech Language Pathology is going to be held on June 21, 2019. For the courses under the School of Life Sciences (SOLS), which are, MSc Medical Biotechnology, and MSc Molecular Biology & Human Genetics, the counselling is going to be held on June 25, 2019.

MCA counselling is going to be conducted on July 01, 2019, for all MTech and ME programmes, the counselling is from June 27-29, 2019. For all MPharm Programs and PharmD Post Baccalaureate, the MET 2019 Counselling is scheduled to be held on June 17, 2019. lastly, for all MSc Nursing Programs, the University is conducting the counselling from May 22, 2019, onwards.
