The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan is anticipated to declare Lower Secondary Scholarship (LSS) Upper Secondary Scholarship (USS) exam result today, on March 10, 2022. The LSS USS exam was conducted on December 18, 2021. The results are expected to be released today at keralapareekshabhavan.in. Candidates can check their result by entering their user ID and password at the results page. The LSS exam is conducted for students of class 4 and USS exam for students of class 7. The scholarship test is conducted by the Kerala Government to provide academic scholarship to the students of classes 4 and 7. The results were earlier expected to be announced in February.
How to check LSS USS result 2021?
Step 1: Head to the website keralapareekshabhavan.in.
Step 2: Under ‘Main Menu’ tab, click on the ‘LSS/ USS’ link.
Step 3: Enter User ID and password; click on ‘Sign In’ to check result.
The score card will be visible now. The section-wise score and total score, including aggregate percentage will be visible now.
LSS USS exam
The exam is conducted for eligible students in government and government aided schools in Kerala. Students securing A grade in classes 3 and 6 are eligible to appear for the exam. The exam tests the aptitude and concepts of the students. The exam is conducted in 2 papers- Paper 1 for LSS and paper 2 for USS. The total weightage of the LSS exam is 50 marks and the USS exam is 60 marks. There are objective and subjective questions in the paper.
The cut-off for paper 1 is 60% (30 marks), whereas the cut-off for paper 2 is 70% (42 marks). Students satisfying this criteria in a particular district will be offered scholarship. If no student in the district satisfies the cut-off, the student with the highest score will be awarded the scholarship. This year, it is expected that more students will be offered the scholarships, owing to the COVID pandemic.
