Kerala State Education Board (KSEB), Pareeksha Bhavan, has issued an important public notice, announcing the dates for the upcoming KTET 2022 examination. The notice has been issued through the online mode, on the official website ktet.kerala.gov.in. Accordingly, the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test(KTET) 2022 examination will be held on May 04 and 05, 2022. The notice went on to specify the admit card release date along with the timing for each KTET 2022 session.
The KTET 2022 examination has been divided into four broad categories – Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, and Category 4. Categories have been decided on the basis of eligibility criteria and subject combinations.
KTET 2022 – Exam Date & Timing
According to the official notice, the KTET 2022 examination will be held on May 04 and 05, 2022. On May 04, 2022, the Category 1 exam will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm i.e., 2.5 hours. The Category 2 exam shall be organized on the same date, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
On Day 2 i.e., May 05, 2022, the KTET 2022 Category 3 test shall be organized from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. This will be followed by the Category 4 exam scheduled from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

KTET 2022 – Admit Card Release Date
According to the official notice, the KTET 2022 admit cards shall be released on April 25, on the official website. This gives candidates around 9-10 days to download and print a copy of their hall tickets. It is important to note that KSEB will not be issuing any admit card through offline or in-person format. So, candidates will have to make do with the e-copy uploaded on ktet.kerala.gov.in.
The KTET 2022 examination is going to be organised in the OMR-based pen-and-paper format, at selected centres across the state. Candidates will have to identify and mark the right answers in their answer sheets. Instead of achieving the highest possible score, the aim is to score above the category cut-off. Those who qualify the exam will be awarded an eligibility certificate, allowing them to teach in schools affiliated with the state board.
