The recruitment for Graduate Apprentices and Technician Diploma is out for Electrical and Electronics Engineering discipline. For these categories, KPTCL has advertised 125 vacancies for Graduate Apprentice and 75 vacancies for Technician Diploma apprentices.
Aspirants will be shortlisted for the vacant posts based on the eligibility. TThe declaration of the merit list is scheduled on January 27, 2021. Candidates are called for the verification of certificates at Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited, HRD Centre, KPTCL, Hoody, White Field Road, Bengaluru-560048. It will take place between February 03, 2021 to February 06, 2021. Those who are shortlisted for the posts get monthly stipend as well. Candidates appointed under Graduate Apprentice get a monthly stipend of Rs. 7000/- and Rs. 5000/- for Technician Diploma.

Referring to the notification, one can check the eligibility criteria for the KPTCL Apprenticeship Recruitment 2021. Only those candidates who have cleared qualifying exam during 2018, 2019 and 2020 hailing from Karnataka State can apply. Candidates must have a degree in Engineering or Technology to apply for the Graduate apprentices. Those who are applying for Technician Diploma apprentice must have Diploma in Engineering or Technology in concerned discipline. It is important to note that aspirants who have undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible for recruitment. The age limit is applicable as per the apprenticeship rules.
