KMAT 2021 MBA Entrance Exam

The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test or KMAT 2021 is all set to be conducted tomorrow, i.e. November 28, 2021. Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) has already released the admit cards on its official website – kmatindia.com. Candidates who are yet to download the admit cards should do so at the earliest. This test will be conducted for admission to more than 189 AICTE approved management institutes in Bangalore and Karnataka.

Exam Timing

KMAT 2021 is going to be conducted in a home-based online remote proctored mode. It will last for a duration of 02 hours. The test timing will be as per the time mentioned in the KMAT 2021 admit cards. However, as per sources, the examination will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM. Candidates must report to the respective website at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the test.

Last-minute Preparation Tips

The test structure of KMAT 2021 comprises 120 MCQs that are equally divided among three sections. For MBA, there will be 40 questions each from Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills and Basic Aptitude. Similarly, for MCA, 40 questions will be asked each from Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills and Logical Reasoning. With whatever is left for the exam, it is advised to brush up on the important topics from each section so that one is thorough with the fundamentals and basic concepts.

If time permits, then one can also try solving some sample papers and attempt a few mock tests. For the Mathematical Skills section, one should revise the formulae and theorem. Nonetheless, keep in mind that one should not try out new topics at this time. It will only lead to confusion.

Important Guidelines for KMAT 2021

Candidates can appear for the examination either from a laptop or desktop. Moreover, whatever device the candidate is using, should have seamless internet connectivity. One should sit in a room that has enough light so that it becomes easy to capture their photo while equipment checks. Candidates must ensure that there is no noise around the room.

While the examination is going on, the presence of any other person in the room is strongly prohibited. In fact, the candidate should not move from one place to another. Please note that no candidate will be allowed to log in 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination. Every examinee must go through the necessary instructions regarding the technical aspects that have been provided in the user manual.
