The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is all set to hold CA Final Exam 2021 from July 05, 2021 to July 19, 2021. Candidates are continuously asking the ICAI to postpone the exam till the situation of the pandemic is under control. Kirit Somaiya also joined the Justice for CA Students Movement. However, no final decision on the ICAI CA Final 2021 Exam postponement is announced by the institute yet.
The Chartered Accountant 2021 Exam is expected to start from July 2021. The CA Final Group 1 Old Scheme exam is scheduled to take place on July 05, 07, 09 and 11, 2021. CA Final Group Group 1 (new schedule exam) is also scheduled to take place on these dates. Similarly, the CA Final Group 2 Old scheme and New scheme exam will take place on July 13, 15, 17 and 19, 2021.
Aspirants are demanding the postponement of the ICAI CA Exam 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Some students are also running Twitter campaigns to raise their voices against the conduct of exams. An aspirant states, “Students are concerned about facing the risk of a delta variant without receiving at least one dose of vaccination before the exams on July 05, 2021.”
Now, Kirit Somaiya, former member of the Lok Sabha, has shown his support to the CA students. He tweeted mentioning ICAI official twitter handle that the CA Final Exam 2021 should be postponed. Somaiya has stated that candidates are “concerned about getting COVID or having Patients at home/housing complex. Old Course Students Fear to lose an attempt requesting postponement or provision for additional attempt (other than November 2021)”. He has requested ICAI to “check issues raised by Students for the 5 July CA Exam”.
There has been speculation that ICAI might postpone the exam as several other national level exams are postponed. Students are eagerly waiting for a final decision on the CA final exam 2021. As of now, no final decision in this regard has been announced by the officials. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website of ICAI to get the latest update on the ICAI Ca final exam 2021.
Moreover, ICAI has released the CA final 2021 Admit Card on June 21, 2021. Aspirants have to log in to their Single-Sign-On-Account to download the CA Final admit card from icaiexam.icai.org or icai.org. Along with that, some exam day related guidelines and protocol have been issued on the official website.
