KIITEE 2020 Registration Now Open For All UG and PG Programs, Apply With Zero Application Fee

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) invites applications for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE) 2020. Registrations are open for all undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha has published notification for KIIT entrance exam (KIITEE) 2020. The deemed to be university shall offer admission in academic session 2020-21 in all its non medical programs on the basis of the same. Registrations are now open, and there is no application fee for the exam.

The exam dates of KIITEE 2020 are from April 14 to 23, 2020. Last date to apply online is March 31, 2020. The last date to hosting admit card in the website, per the information brochure released today, is April 5, 2020. KIIT shall announce the result of the entrance exam on April 26, 2020, and then start counselling for admission on May 12, 2020. 

KIIT Bhubaneswar offers a plethora of courses that include undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, nursing, law, arts, and sciences. 

Class 12th students can go for B.Tech, B.Tech M.Tech. dual degree biotechnology, B.Sc nursing, BBA, BBA-RM BCA, B.Des, BFTP, BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Sc LLB, B.Arch, B.Sc computer science, BA economics, BA sociology BA english, B.Com. 

Post Graduation programs are MA economics, MA sociology, M.Sc computer science, M.Com, MCA, M.Tech, LLM, M.Sc biotechnology, M.Sc applied microbiology, M.Sc nursing, integrated MMC, MBA, MBA RM, MPH, MHA, MMC, integrated M.Sc-Ph.D, Ph.D.

There will also be lateral entry in B.Tech as well as MCA through KIITEE.

KIITEE 2020 will be three hour long computer based tests in multiple choice question format, for each program. Marking scheme of the test will be to get four marks for correct answers, and deduction of one mark for incorrect answers. Language of the questions will be English.

The engineering entrance exam shall be of 10+2 standard, with 40 questions each on physics, chemistry, mathematics. Same shall be for B.Arch science group candidates. 

For BA, BCA, BBA, B.Des, BFTP, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc LLB, integrated MMC, the exam will have four sections. There will be sections namely mathematical ability, analytical and logical reasoning, verbal ability, general knowledge, with respectively 30, 30, 40, 20 questions.

How to apply for KIITEE 2020?

Candidates need to visit kiit.ac.in and click the application form link under KIITEE 2020 banner. The direct link to apply online is on the next page. From there, the process of registration for KIITEE shall begin, wherein one shall have to select one or more programs first, and then proceed to fill the form. 

Personal, educational, communication details have to be entered correctly in the form. The documents to be uploaded while filling the form include class 10 marksheet or board certificate, passport size color photograph, signature. They should respectively be within 1 mb, 50 kb, and 50 kb. 

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is a deemed to be university. Established in 1992, the institute campus is spread over 700 acres of land. In its humble beginnings, the institute was an industrial training institute with 2 faculties and 12 students enrolled. It was in 1997 that the school of technology and school of computer applications were formed. The deemed university status was granted in 2004. Then in 2007, schools were established for rural management, medicine, law. Thereafter schools for mass communication, fashion technology, film studies, tourism and hospitality management, sculpture were formed in 2009. The same year witnessed Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences coming under the KIIT umbrella. In 2013, schools were added for architecture, leadership, sports. Latest additions of school of public health, chemical technology, yoga and spiritualism came into being in the year 2015.
