Department of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, has announced the date, time, websites, apps for plus two results 2021. The Kerala plus two result 2021 will be declared today, on July 28, 2021, at 3 pm. The result will be announced through 5 websites and 2 mobile apps.
The websites to check the results are keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in, and kerala.gov.in. And the mobile apps to check the results will are Sapahalam 2021, iExaMS-Kerala. Students will require their register numbers to check results.
Official notification pertaining to the results was published a short while ago, by Dr. S.S Vivekanandan, Joint Director, and Secretary, Higher Secondary Board. Formal announcement for the result will be made as per the schedule, by the state education minister V Sivankutty.
Until last year, the board had provided the facility to check result via sms. To check plus two results via sms last year, one had send sms KERALA12 <register number> to 56263. However this year, the board has not provided the facility to check the result via sms.
It is also relevant to note that DHSE Kerala will declare plus two results, and VHSE or the Vocational Higher Secondary Education will also announce results today. With these announcements today, the announcements of board exam results in Kerala will conclude; the SSLC results were announced earlier this month, on July 14, 2021. In the SSLC results, 4,19,651 out of 4,21,887 were declared pass.
Kerala is one of the few states were class 12th exams were held. The plus two exams were held from April 8 to 26. The hiccups faced by the board were in conduct of practical exams, and the board also had to delay valuation process due to the pandemic.
Last Year’s Pass Percentage and Statistics of DHSE Kerala Plus Two Results
Last year, DHSE Kerala had announced the plus two results on July 15. The pass percentage was recorded as 85.13%, which was a small improvement from the previous year, when it was 84.33%. A total of 3.75 lakh students had appeared in the exams, and 3.19 lakh had passed. The number of students with A+ was recorded as 18,510, and 114 schools had obtained 100% pass percentage. The district with best pass percentage was Ernakulam.
The pass percentage in science stream was 88.62%, and that in commerce was 84.52%, and in arts it was 77.76%. Last year girls outshone boys, with a pass percentage of 99.29% recorded among girls, and 77.22% among boys.
