The much awaited decision on Karnataka SSLC exam 2021 is here. Students can heave a sigh of relief as the government has decided to postpone the class 10th exams that were scheduled to be held from June 21, 2021.
It has been further decided that the new Karnataka SSLC time table for 2021 board exams will be compiled only after the second wave dies down. At the time of publishing this news, the latest reports show that the state last reported 39,998 new cases on Wednesday.
The decision on postponing the exams comes half a day after it was announced that decision on whether to postpone SSLC exams or not will be taken in 15 days. The decision is 14 days early, but spot on time to reduce the growing stress levels among students who were worried on how to tackle board exams amidst the current state of things.
However the report published late last night in news reports, citing govt’s decision to go ahead with SSLC exams had sent students into a frenzy today. There have been growing queries on – Is SSLC exam postponed or not? The answer to that finally is, yes, the exam has been postponed.

What is the date of postponed SSLC exams?
The answer to that will be available only after the second wave dies down. At the moment, officials have not commented on any speculations as to what the new exam dates might be.
The decision to postpone 2nd PUC exams, and cancel 1st PUC exams was taken earlier this month. One can expect, that revised dates for 2nd PUC as well as SSLC will not be announced together.
A day ago, the Karnataka Examinations Authority also postponed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2021. The state level CET will now be held from August 28 to 30, 2021.
