Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2022 notification on the official website jssc.nic.in. This notification is pertaining to the recruitment drive launched under the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE). This year, a total of 956 vacancies have been announced under the ambit of several posts including Assistant Branch Officer, Block Supply Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, etc.
Although the JSSC CGL 2021 notification has been released in the last week of December 2021, the registration process is not going to begin anytime soon. In fact, according to the notification, interested and eligible candidates can begin applying from January 15, 2022, 11:00 am onwards. They have time up to February 14, 2022, to register and read all the required information. They also have two days extra i.e., up to February 16, 2022, to pay the application fee.
As per the official notification, all candidates are expected to pay Rs.1000 as an application fee. However, certain reserved castes including SC and ST will be expected to pay Rs.250. Candidates must note that this fee is non-refundable and will not be paid back under any circumstances. To Pay this amount, candidates need to read the terms and conditions, proceed to the payment step, select the payment category as “JGGLCCE-2021” and enter the registration number.
The JSSC CGL 2021 registration process has been divided into different phases wherein a candidate has been given extra time to complete each step. After the payment of the application fee, candidates need to upload their photographs and signature. This step needs to be completed on or before February 18, 2022.
In addition to extra time for each step, candidates can also make use of the JSSC CGL 2021 correction facility to rectify any error made in their application form. This facility can be availed only if a candidate has successfully registered for the JGGLCCE recruitment exam. This facility will be activated on the official website jssc.nic.in from February 19 to 21, 2022.
The JSSC CGL 2021 correction facility will not be applicable to certain credentials in the application form. These include name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. Barring these details, the rest of all information can be changed or rectified.
As of now, the exact date for JSSC CGL 2021 examination has not been announced or mentioned in the official notification. The same will be updated on the official website jssc.nic.in, in due course of time. However, one thing’s for sure – the exam will be held in the OMR-based offline mode. The question paper will cover only objective-based questions. Candidates need to identify the right open and mark the same in their answer sheet.
