Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) Delhi 2018 Registration Starts From June 15

JAC Delhi counseling

The Joint Admission counseling (JAC) Delhi will start for B.E, B.Tech, and B.Arch. programs 2018-2019. The online counseling will commence after the announcement of JEE Main Result.

The counseling will start for Delhi Technological University(DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women(IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology(IIIT-D), and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology(NSIT). Read: JAC Delhi 2018 Counseling Schedule

The candidates are invited to participate in the counseling process, which will start on June 15, 2018, from 10:00 AM onwards. The registration has to be done on http://www.jacdelhi.ac.in, or at JAC Counseling. Further, all the candidates are required to pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1500/- via Net Banking, credit or Debit Card. Most importantly, the online registration and choice filling will take place simultaneously.

So, candidates must complete the registration process along with fee payment until June 23, 2018, 5:00 PM. Moreover, the choice filling can be done until 11:59 PM. Read: JAC Delhi 2018 Registration Process

The JAC Delhi also issue the eligibility criteria that all the JEE Main Qualifiers has to satisfy irrespective of their rank. There is no age bar for admission in NSIT and IGDTUW. Though a candidate must be between 17 to 25 Years of age to seek admission in DTU and IIIT-D. Similarly, there are minimum marks criteria for different institutes. For say, in DTU, IGDTUW, and NSIT, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subject. It is also important that candidates must have studied English at the intermediate level. Read: JAC Delhi 2018 Eligibility Criteria 

The seat matrix of the participating institutes will release later. Though according to last year data, there were 3567 intakes of seats for the four institutes together. Previously, 128 seats had been added by DTU to make the total intake of 1925 seats. Moreover, there is reservation of seats for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of 15%, 7.5%, and 27% respectively. Read: JAC Delhi 2018 Seat Matrix

Once the counseling starts the seat allotment process will start. It will be done according to the JEE Main 2018 AIR, the choice for the course and college submitted by the candidate, Order of priority and the number of Vacant Seats. The seat allotment will be provisional and the candidates will able to check the status from the official JAC Delhi 2018 login. Candidates will have the choice to freeze the allocated seat or withdraw it.

After the seat allotment process, candidates have to pay the admission fees. The aspirants have to pay Rs. 75000/- online to confirm the seat in the participating institutes. For the purpose of verification, candidates have to submit  JAC Delhi Fee Payment Receipt, a copy of the online registration form, printout of submitted choices, 3 passport size photographs, a printout of JEE Main 2018 Admit Card & Scorecard, class 12th mark sheet, seat allotment letter of JAC Delhi 2018, birth certificate, reserved category/sub-category Certificate, medical fitness certificate, and PD sub-category certificate.
