Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for various temporary posts. A total of 31 openings under the Quami Waqf Board Tarraqqiati Scheme are advertised at jmi.ac.in. The vacancies are for posts such as Project Coordinator, Field Assistant, Verifier, and other Part-Time posts. The University has advertised the openings under the Quami Waqf Tarraqqiati Scheme sponsored by the Central Waqf Council for the financial year 2020-2021. Therefore the contract period after the appointment is valid up to March 31, 2021. The posts include Project Coordinator, Field Assistant, Verifier, Part-Time Support Staff and Part-Time Attendant. Appointed candidates have to engage in a job role that requires mapping of Waqf properties located across various Indian states.
Candidates selected for the post of Project Coordinator are entitled to a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs 25000. On the other hand, Field Assistants are entitled to a remuneration of Rs 180 per property. Similarly, Verifiers are entitled to receive Rs 130 per property. Part-Time Supporting Staff post holders are entitled to a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 8000. On the other hand, Part-Time Attendants are entitled to a monthly consolidated salary of Rs 5000.
Intending candidates must ensure that they fulfil the specified minimum conditions of eligibility before applying for the recruitment. For the post of Project Coordinator, applicants need a M.A/M.Sc in Geography/Geology/Geo-Informatics in order to apply. Candidates having a B.A/B.Sc./BBA/B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering/PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS Applications are eligible to apply. Those who have a M.A/M.Sc in Geography/Geology/Geo-Informatics are also eligible to apply for this post.
Similar to the above, candidates having a B.A/B.Sc./BBA/B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering/PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS Applications are eligible to apply for the post of Verifier. M.A./M.Sc. (Geography/Geology/Geo-Informatics) post holders are also eligible to apply for this post. Any Graduate candidates with 05 years of more of working experience in an educational institute is eligible to apply for the post of Part-Time Supporting Staff. On the other hand. Class 10th pass candidates having at least 03 years of work experience in an educational institute is eligible to apply for the post of Part-Time Attendant.
