JKSSB Admit Card 2021 out at jkssb.nic.in for Assistant Compiler; Check Exam Date, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the JKSSB admit card 2021 for Assistant Compiler and other posts exam on its official website.

JKSSB Admit Card 2021

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has made available the admit card for the exams to the post of Assistant Compiler and others on its official website. The exam will be conducted from December 20, 2021, to January 12, 2022. Candidates who have registered for the exam are required to visit the official website of JKSSB jkssb.nic.in to download their admit card.

 The steps to download the admit card are as follows:

Step 1: Go to the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) jkssb.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the notification citing Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for Computer Based Test.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials such as registration number and date of birth and submit.

Step 4: Download the Admit Card and take a printout.

The candidates must carry along with them two recent passport size photographs and any valid ID proofs such as Aadhar card, passport, PAN card, voter ID card, or driving license for the verification process. Candidates must ensure that all the details provided in the admit card are correct and must contact the officials immediately in case of any discrepancy.

The JKSSB Assistant Compiler examination will have two steps in the selection process. The Written Examination stage and the Document Verification stage.

The written examination will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) divided into different sections based on different topics. The sections include General English, General Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General Knowledge with special reference to JK, Mental Ability Test, History, Civics, Geography, and General Science.

General English

Comprehension; Editing/Proofreading; Rearranging of Jumbled Sentences; Dialogue; Narration; Modals; Articles; Paragraph Writing with Blanks; Clauses; Punctuation; Synonyms & Antonyms; Pair of Words and

Mental Ability Test

Number Series; Letter Series; Coding and Decoding; Direction Sense; Blood Relations; Mathematical Reasoning; Speed, Distance and Time; Statement and Conclusions.

 General Mathematics

Surface Areas and Volumes; Converting One Type of Metalic Solid into Another; Profit and Loss; Simple Interest; Compound Interest; Linear Equations with Two Variables; Progression; BODMAS; Probability: Simple Problems on Single Event.

History

Revolt of 1857; Formation of the Indian National Congress in 1885 and Role of Moderates; Factors Leading to the Rise of Extremism in the Congress with Special Reference to the Partition of Bengal; Important Dates and Historical Events concerning India; Boycott and Swadeshi Movement; Rise of Muslim League in 1906: Causes; Khilafat Movement and Non-Cooperation Movement; Quit India Movement; Independence and Partition of India.

Civics

Origin of Democracy and Its Types: Direct and Indirect Democracy, Hindrance to Democracy; Fundamental Rights; Fundamental Duties; Directive Principles of State Policy; Public Opinion; Representation; Franchise; Secret Ballot; Nomination; Symbol; The Campaign; Presidential Elections; Languages; Cities and Villages; The United Nation.

Geography

Change of Seasons; Solar System; Planets; Forests and its Conservation; National Park and Wildlife Sanctuaries; Water Resources; Multipurpose River Valley Projects; Irrigation in J&K; Methods of Water Conservation; Rain Water Harvesting; Transport; Road (Different Routes of J&K UT).

General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Abbreviations, Popular Personalities; Principal Languages of India; Capitals and Currencies of Countries; International; Important Regional Organisations and Blocks Space Programme of India; India’s Atomic Research Programme; Awards, Honours and Prizes; The World of Sports; Export & Imports; India’s GDP, GNP Per Capita Income; Thermal/Nuclear/Hydropower Plants in India.

General Knowledge with Special Reference to J&K.

Popular Names of Personalities and Their Achievements/Contribution: Weather, Climate, Crops, Means of Transport; J & K History, Economy and Culture; Flora and Fauna of J&K; Rivers and Lakes; Important Tourist Destinations; J&K Panchayati Raj Act, 1989, 73rd & 74th Constitutional Amendments; J & K Reorganisation Act, 2019.

Different sections will have a varying number of questions. The total marks obtained in the exam will be converted proportionally into 100 marks by the board.

The second step in the JKSSB Assistant Compiler Examination is the document verification process. The candidates who clear this step successfully will get selected for the posts. While appearing for the document verification, the candidates should carry the following things:

–       The certificates and their attested copies of the educational qualifications.
–       Caste/ Category Certificate, if applicable.
–       Domicile Certificate
–       Migrant Certificate issued by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner.
–       Two recent passport-size photographs of the candidate.
