The High Court of Jharkhand has advertised 22 temporary vacancies for the post of Presiding Officer in Fast Track Special Court for speedy disposal of Rape & POCSO Act Cases of the state. Through Advt. No. 01/2020/Apptt., the High Court has indicated that offline applications for recruitment can be sent by eligible candidates 04 weeks from the date of publication of the advertisement i.e. July 30, 2020. As per the detailed notification published by the High Court of Jharkhand, the available vacancies are all temporary in nature in the fast Track Special Courts intended for quick resolution of Rape cases and cases under the POCSO Act. The period of employment is for a year only during which, shortlisted applicants will be entitled to receive emoluments as per the indicated pay scale. The pay scale of appointed candidates is Rs 1,31,100 – 2,16,600.
Candidates who are retired Judicial Officers of Superior Judicial Service Cadre are only eligible to apply for recruitment into the advertised vacancies. Besides, the age limitations are also highlighted in the detailed advertisement. Candidates must not have completed the age of 65 years within one year from the date of publication of the advertisement in order to be eligible to apply for the recruitment. In addition, candidates who have retired under Rule 74 (b) (ii) of the Jharkhand Service Code, 2001 of similar grounds are ineligible to apply for the recruitment. Candidates must have a clean service record.

In order to apply for the recruitment, candidates must first obtain the prescribed proforma for application. The proforma is available online appended with the detailed recruitment notice which can be downloaded from the official website of Jharkhand High Court. Candidates should fill up the application form carefully and sign it. The application form must also be affixed with 02 recent passport-sized photographs. Upon completely filling up the application form, candidates must review the correctness of the information and send the applications to Registrar General, High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi by the last date. The applications must be sent either through Registry or submitted by hand only. All applications must reach the authorities on or before the last date.
