West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) already conducted the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences Under Graduate Courses (JENPAS) UG 2021 examination. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam are ardently waiting for the results to come out. However, WBJEEB authorities have not specified an exact to announce the results. It is certain that results will come out on wbjeeb.nic.in. Based on past year records, results are likely come out on August 26, 2021, in the form of a scorecard.
In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the JENPAS (UG) examination was not conducted. Students were admitted to various medical courses based on their Class 12 performance. However, in 2019, the state-level entrance exam was held on June 30. Results for the same were announced on July 26, 2019, on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. There was a gap of 26 days between the two events.
Similarly, in 2018, the JENPAS (UG) examination was held on May 27. Results for the entrance test were announced on June 22, 2018. Thus, there was a 26-day gap between the exam and result dates. However, 2017 had slight variation in the schedule of events. The exam was conducted on May 28, 2017. Results for the state-level entrance exam were announced on June 27, 2021. Here, there was a 30-day gap rather than 26.
Now, authorities are yet to specify the exact date for result declaration. The exam was concluded today and hence, candidates can expect the result date soon. Based on previous-year records, results are likely to be announced on August 26, 2021, or latest by August 30, 2021. In the meantime, candidates can check the official website wbjeeb.nic.in to get their queries resolved.
According to the JENPAS (UG) 2021 information bulletin, WBJEEB authorities will be releasing the results in the form of rank cards. Each rank card will display the rank and score achieve by the respective candidate. To download their rank cards, candidates must login to the official website using their password.
The JENPAS (UG) 2021 rank cards will be available for download on two websites – wbjeeb.in and wbjeeb.nic.in, once the results are announced. Authorities will not be releasing any separate rank or score list. They will also not hand-out physical rank cards to any candidate. At the time of results, students must make it a point to download/print their rank cards within 60 days. Otherwise, they will have to contact the board authorities and pay Rs.500 to get duplicate copy of their scorecards.
