The Joint Entrance Exam Council (Polytechnic), Uttarpradesh has released a notification for the JEECUP 2021 on its official website, jeecup.nic.in. According to the notice, the JEECUP 2021 entrance exam is going to be held from August 31, 2021, to September 04, 2021. The test is scheduled to be held in the computer-based format in three shifts viz. 8 AM to 10.30 AM, 12 PM to 2.30 PM, and 4 M to 6.30 PM. The candidates can download their JEECUP Admit Card 2021 for the online test from August 25, 2021, onwards.
Earlier, the JEECUP 2021 examination was scheduled to be conducted from September 09, 2021, to September 14, 2021. However, the exam has been preponed citing the earlier session being halted due to COVID-19. Since this year, the exam is been decided to be held in the online-based format. Hence the council has released a Mock test link to make the candidates aware of the exam interface. The candidates can access the mock test from the link provided on the left-hand side of the homepage of the website.
The test of JEECUP Group A is scheduled from August 31, 2021, to September 02, 2021. While exam for Group E1 and E2 is going to be held on September 03, 2021. In the same way, the remaining groups of JEECUP will be held on the last day of the examination i.e. September 04, 2021.
The candidates willing to participate in the JEECUP 2021 exam need to download the admit card from the website. The candidates need to initially visit the official website of the council, jeecup.nic.in. Post this, they have to find the admit card link on the News and Event section. On clicking the link, the candidates have to enter their Roll number and Date of birth. Upon submission, they can cross-check and download the JEECUP Admit Card.
According to the exam pattern of JEECUP, the entrance test for Group A (Engineering Diploma) will be based on questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The weightage of Physics and Chemistry & Mathematics will be 50% each. While the test from Group E1 & E2 (Diploma in Pharmacy) will have 50% questions from Physics & Chemistry and 50% questions from Biology. The candidates who are successful in the JEECUP exam will be eligible to get admission in Diploma in Engineering/Pharmacy/or other disciplines of different Polytechnic colleges of UP.
