National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Main 2021 admit card in the second week of February as per the information brochure. However, if we take a look at the official website of NTA, nta.ac.in, under the active exam section, the admit card release date of JEE Main 2021 February exam is indicated as February 14, 2021.
Thus, it can be expected that the candidates will be able to download their JEE Main 2021 hall ticket by February 14, 2021.
NTA will release the admit card online only at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates need application number and password / date of birth to download the admit card. The admit card is needed to take entry at the exam center of JEE Main 2021. Via the admit card itself, NTA assigns the exam date, time, and center to the candidates.
It must be noted that the admit card will release separately for February, March, April, and May exams. The admit card of one session will not be valid for the other sessions.
On the day of the exam, students will need to carry the admit card in printed format with 1 passport size photograph, A valid authorized photo id proof. PwD certificate (if needed), self-declaration form (as given with the admit card), simple transparent ball pen, Hand sanitizer bottle (50 ml), and transparent water bottle.
JEE Main 2021 will be held in 2 shifts per day from February 23 to 26, 2021. Shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The syllabus of the exam remains unchanged. There are three different papers under the NTA JEE Main – Paper 1 is for BE / B.Tech admissions, Paper 2A is for B.Arch, and Paper 2B is for B.Planning. In the B.Tech paper question will be asked from Physics, chemistry, and maths. In the B.Arch paper, questions will come from Maths, aptitude, and drawing. On the other hand in the B.Plan paper, the questions will be framed from aptitude, maths, and planning.
Keeping in mind the reduced the 10+2 syllabus across carious school bards including CBSE, NTA has changed the exam pattern of the exam. Now in the papers will have internal choices.
JEE Main stands for Joint Entrance Examination Main. It is one of the biggest engineering entrance examinations in India. NTA conducts it for admission of candidates in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, etc., in B.Tech / B.E / B.Arch / B.Plan courses. Only eligible 10+2 qualified / appearing candidates can apply for the exam. Other than this, IITs also consider JEE Main a mandatory eligible for JEE Advanced examination. Only the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers of JEE Main are eligible to apply and appear for JEE Advanced and get admission in prestigious IITs.
