National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the list of toppers of JEE Main 2021. The agency has revealed the list of those students who bagged rank 1 in the national level engineering entrance exam. Among the numerous 100 percentilers, these students emerged with the rank 1.
Andhra Pradesh proudly has 4 toppers from the state – Duggineni Venkata Paneesh, Kanchanapalli Rahul Naidu, Karanam Lokesh, Pasala Veera Siva.
Rajasthan has 3 toppers from the state, namely Anshul Verma, Mridul Agarwal, and Siddhant Mukherjee.
Then there is one first ranker from Bihar, Chandigarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab. The toppers names from these states are respectively Vaibhav Vishal, Guramrit Singh, Gaurab Das, Atharva Abhijit Tambat, Pulkit Goyal.
From Delhi NCR, there are 2 toppers, Kavya Chopra, and Ruchir Bansal. Likewise Telangana too has 2 toppers, who are Josyula Venkata Aditya, Komma Sharanya. And the toppers from UP too are two in number, who are Amaiya Singhal, and Pal Aggarwal.

Duggineni Venkata Paneesh was in the news in August, when he and his friends from Sri Chaitanya college together got top scores in the third session of JEE Mains. In the same month, Vaibhav Vishal too hit the headlines being one of the only toppers from Bihar who made it to the top scorers list from the state.
In March, Guramrit Singh was interviewed by The Indian Express, where he expressed his desire to appear in another JEE Main session despite getting 100 percentile in that one. He wishes to study Computer Science from IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay. With his track record, it appears he is quite close to his dream.
Kavya Chopra became one of the first girl students to get the top rank in JEE Main and was widely covered in national news in March. In her first attempt, she got 99.978 percentile. She too wishes to pursue CSE from IITB. Kavya has a number of olympiad wins too under her belt.
Delhi kid Ruchir Bansal was interviewed in August, by a lot of leading dailies, where he said that he studies more than 10 hours in a day. He is not the first in his family to have achieved a milestone rank in JEE, his elder brother got AIR 3 in the 2016 JEE Mains.
Atharva Abhijit Tambat improved his score from 99.97 to 100 from first to second attempt. He studied in Ryan International School, Sanpada and FIITJEE. He too wants to study CSE in IIT Bombay.
Anshul Verma had got 99.95 percentile in his first attempt, 99.93 in second; third time was the charm for him. He did his JEE prep from Kota.
Mridul Agarwal is motivated by Sundar Pichai. His dream is also to study CSE in IIT Bombay. Mridul took classes from Allen, albeit online. He did his schooling from St Xavier’s School, Jaipur.
Siddhant Mukherjee got 100 percentile in the initial sessions, and decided not to appear in any more attempts, instead focus on JEE Advanced. His dream colleges are IIT Bombay, Imperial College London, and the University of Cambridge.
Komma Sharanya is another girl topper in JEE Main, one of the only three first rankers. She studied from the Narayana Group.
Pal Agarwal is another inspiration for female engineering aspirants; the Ghaziabad girl who studied from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School bagged the first rank in JEE Mains 2021 setting a benchmark for girl students across the country. While she too wants to study at IIT B, her course of choice is Aerospace Engineering.
