The Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Mains) is around the corner. The first session of this national level examination is scheduled to take place from February 23, 2021, to February 26, 2021. Call letters for JEE Mains 2021 are expected to release today online. Candidates who are participating in the JEE Mains exam this year can download it from the official website, jeemains.nta.nic.in. It is suggested to keep the application number and password ready to log in.
If we look at the past year trends, National Testing Agency (NTA) released the admit card at least 02 weeks prior to the examination dates. This help aspirants to have a clear idea where their exam centre is located beforehand. This year, the first session of all four sessions will take place at the end of February (23 to 26, 2021). As per the reports, the JEE Mains Admit Card 2021 is expected to be out today.
To download the JEE Mains admit card 2021 on time, candidates are suggested to regularly visit the official website, i.e jeemain.nta.nic.in. On the homepage, candidates will get the direct link to download the JEE Mains Hall Ticket. After clicking on the button, aspirants are directed to the login page. Here, make sure to enter the correct application number and password. Aspirants can also opt to download the call letter through the application number and date of birth. Then, the link to download the admit card appears on the screen. Using this button. Applicants can easily preview and print their respective JEE Mains Exam admit card.
Once aspirants are done with the process, they can look over the JEE Mains Exam Centre and Reporting time. Also, examine the information that is available admit card. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must contact NTA.
Furthermore, this admit card is required at various stages of the selection procedure. Hence, candidates must keep several copies of JEE Mains admit card with them. Take a printout of call letter to the examination centre for the verification. Along with this, they also have to carry the photograph identical to that uploaded online. Also, produce a valid photo ID proof with other documents. Candidates can carry any one of the following ID proof in original – PAN card/ aadhaar card/ e-aadhaar card/ voter id card/ passport/ ration card/ class 12 admit card/ bank passport.
As the exam is taking place amidst COVID-19, candidates are responsible to maintain the social distancing. They have to carry their sanitiser in a transparent bottle, simple transparent ball pen and transparent water bottle. Wearing a mask all the time is mandatory.
Moreover, NTA is conducting the JEE Mains Exam in four sessions. The first session is going to take place this month that is February 23 to 26, 2021. The second session will take place next month from March 15 to 18, 2021. Following this, the third session is scheduled to take place in April from 27 to 30, 2021. The last session will be conducted in the month of May that is from May 24 to 28, 2021.
