Candidates are given one extra day to upload photograph and signature in JEE Main 2019 Application Form. Now, candidates can make the fee payment and also upload the photographs and signatures by October 01, 2018 until 11:50 PM. Thus, candidates who were unable to complete the scanned image uploading due to last minute rush can now be relieved and complete the process by today.
The application process was JEE Main 2019 ended on September 30, 2018. Only the provision of uploading and paying the application fee is available until October 01, 2018. Candidates can make the payment using net banking, credit card, debit card or SBI echallan. Candidates who wish to pay the fee using the echallan, must complete the payment before the banking hours end.
To upload the scanned images, candidates have to keep in mind the dimensions and sizes. The scanned images must be in JPG/JPEG format. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 KB and 200 KB, whereas the size of scanned signature should be between 4 KB to 30 KB. Dimensions are also specified to be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (Height) for the photograph and signature both.
It has been reported that many candidates have faced trouble while making the online payment. Thus, candidates are advised to make payment well before the deadline. If the images and fee payment formalities are left incomplete, the application forms will not be accepted.
The application form correction window will open from October 08 to 14, 2018. This will be a one time facility to make changes in the application form if needed. Candidates have to login using their application number and password to make correction in their application form. Minimal charges may be applicable to make correction in certain fields.
Also, the exact date and shift of JEE Main 2019 January exam will be available on October 05, 2018. Until now NTA has just notified that the exam will be conducted between January 06 to 20, 2019. However, the exacts dates are not yet available. Thus, on October 05, 2018 the exact dates and shifts of the exam will be released.
Candidates will not be able to choose their date and shift for examination. NTA will randomly allot the exam date and shift. On the admit card of JEE Main 2019, candidates will be able to check their allotted date, shift and exam centre.
