JEE Main 2019 paper 2 exam was held today, on April 07, 2019. the exam was held in 2 shifts from 9:30 Am to 12:30 PM and then from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Analysis reveals that the April exam was easier than the January exam. The Mathematics section was the most difficult one and the aptitude section was the easiest. The drawing section was lengthy and the sketching part took most of the time.

As per the initial reaction of the candidates and memory based question and answers reported by them, there were 4 questions from Integration in the mathematics section. There were Questions from Calculus and 3-D were tricky. Maths although was difficult for most, some student found it easy to moderate. There were tricky questions from class 11.

The division of the questions was 75% and 25% ratio from class 12 and 11 respectively. There were no questions that were repeated from the January session of JEE Main 2019. The aptitude section was easy enough to be solved in just 20 to 25 minutes. There were no tricky questions as such.

Drawing sections was one of the most time taking sections. The sketching took most of their time. The questions were based on imagination skills and also to judge the understanding skills of the candidates. The questions that were asked in the exam in the drawing section were students had to make an aesthetic image out of cube using their imagination, students have to replicate an image of the flower, as accurately as they can, and to draw a classroom scene in which the professor and student can be seen from behind, and to design a square table cloth.

The cutoff for paper 2 is unexpected as of now. This time the cutoff will be declared in terms of percentile score. The percentile or the NTA score of the paper 2 candidates will be declared by May 15, 2019. Since the exam is being held in multiple days and shifts, the difficulty level of the exam over this period is going to vary. Thus, to keep the result fair for all, NTA normalises the scores and comes up with percentile scores/NTA scores for all.
