IIT Roorkee has conducted the JAM 2022 exam for Biotechnology (BT) today, on February 13, 2022. The exam was held in the forenoon session from 9 am to 12 pm. With the conclusion of the exam, candidates have started their search for the exam’s answer key and analysis.

As far as the official answer key is concerned, that will be available in some time.
Today, candidates can check the answer keys of the Biotechnology exam that are released by coaching centers.
Note that the institutional answer keys are compiled as per memory based question papers collated by students and coaching centers, as well as tutors and other JAM exam mentors. There is a certain level of mismatch between this and the official answer sheets released by IIT.

Analysis of JAM 2022 Biotechnology paper
The paper had three sections, namely A, B, C. Section A had 30 MCQs with 10 qs of 1 mark and 20 qs of 2 marks. Section B had 10 MSQs of 2 marks each. And Section C had 20 NAT type questions, with 10 questions of 1 mark and 10 of 2 marks.
The exam consisted of questions from the following
BIOLOGY (10+2+3 level) : Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Evolution, Microbiology, Plant Biology, Animal Biology, Ecology, Biotechnology, Methods in Biology.
CHEMISTRY (10+2+3 level):Structure and properties of Atoms, Bonding in molecules, Chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and equilibrium, Physical and chemical properties of compounds, Chemistry of organic compounds, Instrumental techniques.
MATHEMATICS (10+2 level) : Sets, MI, Log, Complex, Equations, Trigo and other topics, Statistics, Probability
PHYSICS (10+2 level) – Various topics including Current, Optics.
What next?
JAM 2022 result will be declared on March 22, 2022. Sometime between today and that, the official answer keys and response sheets will be published at jam.iitr.ac.in.
The institutes that will use JAM scores are the admitting institutes – IIT Bhilai, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Jammu, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Mandi, IIT Palakkad, IIT Patna, IIT Roorkee, IIT Ropar, IIT Tirupati, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IISc Bangalore. Plus, the result sharing institutes listed at jam.iitr.ac.in.
IIEST Shibpur, SLIET Punjab, and IISERs shall also accept its scores for admissions.
