Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata is hiring for the post of Deputy Chief Executive (Administration) B. The recruitment is to be done for a single post on deputation basis. There is a single opening for the aforementioned post which is to be filled up by recruitment on a deputation basis. Selected candidates are posted at the Headquarters of ISI in Kolkata or at any other location as deemed fit by the Institute. Such candidates are appointed for a deputation period which includes the deputation period in another ex-cadre post that was held by the candidate preceding the appointment. The period of deputation cannot exceed more than three years. Candidates are appointed at the Pay Level 13 in the pay scale of Rs 1,23,100-2,15,900 and other allowances as per the 7th CPC Matrix.
In order to apply for the recruitment, candidates must be compliant with the specified minimum eligibility conditions. The maximum age for deputation must not be more than 56 years as on 01.07.2020. In addition, candidates must be holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department or have a minimum of five years of service record in Pay Level 12 in the pay scale of Rs 78800-209200 or equivalent. In addition to these, candidates must also hold a graduate degree in any discipline with a degree/diploma in Management or equivalent. Candidates must also have 10 years of experience in an administrative role in Government organizations. Out of the 10 years, a minimum of 5 years must be at the Pay Level 12 in the pay scale of Rs 15600-39100 and grade pay of 7600. It is mandatory for all applicants to have a thorough knowledge of relevant government rules and regulations. In addition, it is desirable that candidates are competent in the use of modern computer applications in administrative & management functions.
