The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has concluded the ISC class 12 English Language Paper 1 examination today, i.e. April 26, 2022. The exam commenced at 2:00 PM and continued till 3:30 PM. Students were given the question papers ten minutes prior to the commencement of the exam. As such, students were given a reading time of 10 minutes. However, soon after the completion of the exam, the answer keys have been released by the coaching centers and subject experts.
ISC English Language Answer Keys
The official answer keys are not yet available but the unofficial ones can be accessed now. These answer keys can help one to get some idea about their overall performance and also calculate a tentative score in the exam. Note that the answer keys are mainly available as question paper discussions and exam analyses as released by the educators and coaching centers.

Exam Analysis
The total marks for the ISC English Language question are 40. Questions were mainly asked from portions like composition, directed writing and proposal writing. The very first question was a 350-400 words composition on any of the topics that were given. This question, however, comprised 20 marks. Similarly, the next two questions were for 12 and 08 marks, respectively. The ISC English Language exam mainly tested the students’ writing skills and creative thinking ability. As such, the overall difficulty level of the question paper can be deemed fairly easy.
Students appearing for the exam had been instructed to write on two sides of the answer booklet. The instructions also dictate the students be seated in the exam halls at least five minutes before the scheduled time of commencement. They needed to put their signatures at the top of the answer booklet. Like the previous semester, CISCE is conducting the semester 2 exams in the offline mode with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. Students must be wearing masks and face coverings all the time.
The final result of ISC class 12 exam will be announced together for both semesters. It is expected that the results are going to be announced in July 2022. The exams are going to conclude on June 13, 2022, with subjects like Geography, Geometrical & Mechanical Drawing, and Electricity and Electronics.
