The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has successfully conducted the class 12 Biology – Paper 1 (Theory) exam today, i.e. May 17, 2022. Students had to appear for the exam for a duration of one hour and thirty minutes. The exam commenced at 2:00 PM and continued till 3:30 PM. However, with the culmination of the exam, students seem to be in search of the answer keys and question paper solutions. To find the answer keys, one needs to keep an eye on the channels of various coaching centres and subject experts.
Where to check?
It must be noted that the answer keys are not the official ones but will be released unofficially by coaching centres and subject experts. These educators have years of experience in teaching the subject. Although they are unofficial, students will get benefitted from them in terms of analyzing their overall performance.
Note that ISC class 12 Biology answer key can be accessed from YouTube. Once the answer keys are released, students can go through them and also crosscheck the answers to calculate a tentative score for the exam. Channels such as Dr. Laskar’s Biology, Upadhyayns – Desire Education, Mathematically Possible, Er. Question Paper
The total marks on the question paper were 35. Questions were asked from a total of three units in the ISC class 12 sem 2 Biology exam 2022. These units are given below:
- Biology and Human Welfare
- Biotechnology and its Applications
- Ecology and Environment
From the first unit, only two sub-units namely Human Health and Diseases and Strategies for enhancement in Food Production were required. The remaining two are complete units. It must be noted that the question paper was divided into three sections namely A, B, and C. The section-wise marking has been given below.
- Section A – 7 marks
- Section B – 16 marks
- Section C – 12 marks
A duration of 10 minutes was given to read the question paper. During this time, no one was allowed to write anything. The question papers for ISC class 12 Biology were distributed at 1:50 PM.
