St Stephens college has notified at its official website that the prospectus for St. Stephens College admission 2019 is going to start today at 12 noon. Students will be able to download the admission prospectus for St. Stephens college online at http://www.ststephens.edu.
With the release of the prospectus, the students will get to know a lot about the college. For example, they will know about the courses offered, the application process, schedule for the various events, admission process, etc. The registration process for St. Stephens is a bit different from other DU colleges. To register for St. Stephens college, students have to first register at the DU admission portal and obtain a 9-digit registration number.
Now the question is that the DU UG admission forms have not yet been released, so how can St. Stephens start their registration process. The college has clearly stated on its website that it is releasing the prospectus for admission 2019 today. There is no mention of the registration process, nor the officials have provided any date by which the registration process for St Stephens admission 2019 starts.
Earlier, the registration at St. Stephens college was supposed to start from May 18, 2019, however, it got delayed yet again. Students have been eagerly waiting for DU to release the Admission Forms, but there is no official information as to when will the admission forms for DU UG admission 2019 will be available. As per the newspaper reports, students may expect the DU Forms 2019 to release by May 24, 2019, at du.ac.in.
The registration process at St. Stephens comprises of two steps. Step 1 is to complete the application process and pay the Delhi University registration fees. Without paying the DU registration fees, candidates cannot apply for St, Stephens college. On paying the DU registration fee, candidates will obtain a 9-digit registration number. Step 2 is to visit the St. Stephens college website and complete the application form.
Candidates are offered admission in various UG and PG courses at St. Stephens like B. A. (Honours) in Economics, English, History, Philosophy, and Sanskrit. B. A. (Programme) with a range of subject combinations from the Humanities. B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with a range of subject combinations from the Sciences. The College also admits students to the following postgraduate (M.A.) courses – Economics, English, History, Mathematics, Operational Research, Philosophy, and Sanskrit.
St. Stephens conducts its own entrance exam to shortlist candidates for admission in the given courses. It also releases separate cut-offs for students from humanities, science and commerce streams. It has 410 seats across 10 courses, furthermore, being a religious minority college, the admission process at St Stephen’s is different. It reserves 50 per cent seats for Christians.
