The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Physics (IOQP) was conducted today 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The answer keys and solutions along with the question papers have been released by many coaching institutes. The answer keys and solutions are purely memory based and are prepared by the expert faculties. A set of websites and YouTube channel links have been provided here for the candidates’ reference. The official answer key and question paper is expected to be released by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) tomorrow at olympiads.hbcse.tifr.res.in.
Indian Olympiad Qualifier
The Indian Olympiad Qualifier is conducted by the (HBCSE) and the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to test the knowledge and aptitude of the school-going children in the country. The IOQ is usually conducted for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Junior Science, Biology and Astronomy. The IOQM and IOQJS papers were conducted last week and the official answer keys and question papers for the same are available in the official website. Today, the IOQP and IOQB were held from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Next week, on March 20, the IOQC and IOQA will be conducted.

Candidates can use these links to understand how they have performed in the exam. Using the marking scheme, they can also calculate their rough score. It is important to remember that these solutions are prepared from the test takers’ memory and the actual score of the candidate might be liable to change.
IOQP official answer key
The HBCSE is likely to release the official answer keys and question paper tomorrow. Candidates will get a clearer picture once the official answer keys are released. After the release of the tentative answer keys, the candidates will be provided a couple of days to raise their objections. The final answer key will be prepared by considering the objections received from the candidates. The results and merit list will be based on the final answer key.
